Who We Are

At Denver Investments, our mission is to make a difference in our clients’ lives by offering them customized solutions to help them reach their financial goals. Drawing upon over five decades of experience working with individuals and families, we are a trusted partner to our clients in their journey to preserve and enhance their wealth.

Personal Approach Backed by Experience

We take a personal approach to wealth management that draws upon over five decades of experience working with individuals and families. Our goal is to get to know our clients – understand their needs, objectives, and tolerance for risk. Each of our portfolio managers works with a limited number of clients to focus on creating investment solutions based on each client’s unique situation.

Independent Research

When it comes to investments, we believe independent thinking is in our clients’ best interests. In analyzing investments, we seek to develop unique insights into a company or security through rigorous, independent fundamental research and financial modeling. We take a long-term view, believing that our clients benefit from investing in sound companies and not from frequently trading stocks or bonds.

Singular Focus on Clients’ Success

At Denver Investments, we are in one business: serving our clients as a fiduciary in the management of their assets. This allows the firm to focus its resources on one goal: the pursuit of superior risk-adjusted investment returns over the long-term for clients. We believe our independence (100% employee-owned) helps align the firm’s success with the success of our clients.

Our Approach

A Personal and Disciplined Approach

At Denver Investments, we embrace the fact that each client is unique and has specific goals and investment objectives. We work closely with you to develop an investment strategy and customized portfolio based on a thorough understanding of your personal goals and objectives, as well as your risk tolerance, time horizon, tax considerations and more. A key step in developing an investment strategy is determining the appropriate asset allocation. We utilize an in-house, risk-based model to analyze historic returns for different asset mixes along with the historic volatility of those mixes. While these hard numbers support the asset allocation process, we make certain to weigh historical facts against one common-sense question: How much risk can you tolerate and still sleep at night?

Independent Thinking and Proprietary Research

We believe that independent thinking and proprietary fundamental research is the best way to achieve long-term investment success for our clients. Drawing upon the experience of over 30 research analysts who work together in our Denver office, we seek to develop unique insights into a company or security through rigorous, independent research and financial modeling. As part of the research process, we analyze the risk relative to the investment opportunity. While we recognize that risk is an integral part of investing, we seek to maximize your returns without taking unnecessary risk. Our research process produces a disciplined approach to managing portfolios that has endured decades of market and economic cycles.

Customized Service

If you are like many of our clients, building your wealth required hard work, sacrifice and discipline. So, when you entrust that life’s work to an advisor, you expect highly individualized attention, among other things. That is why we make it our top priority to stay attentive to your needs. We provide you direct access to your portfolio manager, the person managing your assets, and to a support team of professionals dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. We also know that understanding cultivates peace of mind, so we take time to explain strategies, define terms and make sure you are comfortable with our approach to managing your wealth. We also seek to provide open and responsive communication, letting our clients determine the frequency, method and level of communication.

Meet Our People

At Denver Investments, our dedicated team of wealth management professionals is focused solely on helping our clients reach their financial goals. Committed to the values of integrity, trustworthiness, and transparency, our professionals develop long-term relationships with clients as we guide them through life’s financial decisions. We foster these relationships through the stability and experience of our investment professionals, who have an average of 14 years with the firm and 26 years in the industry.
